AutomationDirect has added new accessories for Eaton 3P series molded case circuit breakers (MCCBs). The new products include universal rotary handles and Flex ShaftT flexible handles, both available for each MCCB frame size and suitable for NEMA 1/4/4X and 12 enclosures. Also added are high performance Flex Shaft two-position flange handles that feature external front mounting and are available for NEMA 1/3R/4/4X and 12 enclosures and for G-, F-, K- and L-frame MCCB models.

Wöhner Presents Groundbreaking Motor Starters MOTUS C14 Based on C14-Technology
With the motor starters of the MOTUS C14 series from Wöhner, short circuits become less scary. If an error occurs, the electronics switch off the motor within a maximum of 10 microseconds. This means that the MOTUS C14 reacts faster than any fuse and this with a low I2t value. By comparison, the reaction time of a conventional fuse-link is about 2,000 microseconds. With a circuit breaker, the switch-off time in case of a fault is even 5,000 microseconds.

SCHURTER’s prominent UMT-H surface mount ceramic fuse family now includes 40 A and 50 A current ratings with an impressive breaking capacity rating of 500 A at 125 VAC / 72 VDC. The series provides unprecedented overcurrent and short circuit protection performance in a package size of 5.3 x 16 mm. The UMT-H was originally developed to provide a smaller alternative to through-hole mounted 5 x 20 mm cartridge fuses, commonly used for primary circuit protection.

Bourns, Inc. recently announced the addition of a new model series to its leading Multifuse Polymer Positive Temperature Coefficient (PPTC) resettable fuse product line. The new Bourns Multifuse MF-MSHT models are high temperature rated, automotive grade AEC-Q200 compliant and available in a standard 1812 surface mount package. In addition, the MF-MSHT model series features a low thermal derating factor, a maximum voltage range of 9 V – 42 V, and a hold current range of 200 mA – 1.75 A.
