Toshiba has recently announced the release of the T300MV2 F4-OA, a medium voltage adjustable speed drive that reduces facility cooling demand and overall operating costs. The F4-OA is expected to produce up to 40% less heat loss compared to the typical heat loss generated by a standard medium voltage drive of equivalent horsepower. This drive’s design incorporates external ductwork that supplies filtered outdoor air to the inverter section, removing heat at the source to prevent it from entering the equipment room.
