Emerson has recently announced a definitive agreement to acquire FLEXIM Flexible Industriemeßtechnik GmbH (“Flexim”), a global provider of clamp-on ultrasonic flow measurement for liquids, gases and steam. Headquartered in Berlin, Germany, Flexim brings highly differentiated, complementary technology and strong customer relationships to Emerson, with an installed base of more than 100,000 flowmeters, as well as approximately 450 employees.

Emerson recently announced the appointment of Nick Piazza as its next chief people officer. In this role, he will lead the company’s human resources function, employee experience, talent management, total rewards, and diversity, equity and inclusion as Emerson continues driving cultural transformation to become a destination workplace for technology and industrial automation.

Emerson plans to bring together customers, experts, and automation industry providers for a three-day, process automation experience as part of the first Emerson Exchange Immerse. The conference will be held October 3-5, 2023, at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. As an extension of the comprehensive Emerson Exchange events held globally, Emerson Exchange Immerse will enable users to more directly focus on process automation systems, solutions, and software.
