The Siemens Foundation has recently announced the appointment of John Kowal, president of Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc. and head of the Americas for Siemens Healthineers, to its Board of Directors. As president of Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc. and head of the Americas, Kowal is responsible for leading operations across North America and Latin America for the entire Siemens Healthineers portfolio—including medical imaging, laboratory diagnostics, therapy solutions, and services.

Siemens has recently announced a new collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as a Founding Member of the MIT Initiative for New Manufacturing (INM). This collaboration will focus on next-generation production technologies, AI-powered manufacturing systems, and workforce development to rebuild industrial strength in the United States in a more resilient, sustainable, and competitive way.
