Boyd: ROL2300 Coolant Distribution Unit Efficiently and Reliably Cools Modern High Power AI Processors in Hyperscaler, Colocation, and Enterprise Data Centers

Recently, Boyd announced a significant expansion of its liquid cooling product portfolio with a new high-capacity coolant distribution unit (CDU). Boyd’s new ROL2300 is a liquid-to-liquid in row system that enables high performance cooling for modern AI processor applications and is immediately available to purchase in volume. Boyd’s ROL2300 offers high-capacity flow and pressure capabilities, enabling customers to use fewer CDUs, and is optimized to fit easily in data center server rows. A single ROL2300 can efficiently cool over 10 NVL72 racks. The CDU features easy to access front and rear French doors minimizing required aisle space.

Omega Engineering, Inc., part of the DwyerOmega family of brands, is an international, integrated, single-source supplier of highly engineered products and customized solutions for industrial process measurement and control applications, including sensing, control, and monitoring technologies. The company was founded in Norwalk, Connecticut, in 1962 by Betty Ruth Hollander, a 32-year-old mother of four who began making ultra-fine-gauge thermocouples, which weren’t commercially available at the time, at her kitchen table by night and making and mailing flyers, conducting sales calls, and shipping the products by day.

Rittal Enables AI With Modular Cooling Distribution Unit (CDU) Capable of 1 Megawatt (MW) Cooling

In close cooperation with hyperscalers and server OEMs, Rittal has developed a modular cooling distribution unit (CDU) that delivers a cooling capacity of over 1 MW. It was the centerpiece exhibit at Rittal’s booth A24 at the 2024 OCP Global Summit on October 15-17. Introducing the DTFK series thermostat-controlled fan kit from Hammond Manufacturing. The DTFK1AC120E is a unique exhaust filter that includes a thermostat and power cord in one convenient package. While it is designed as an exhaust fan for the rear of the Type 12 Filtered version of Hammond Manufacturing’s NWC series, the DTFK1AC120E can be used as an exhaust fan on almost all of Hammond Manufacturing’s products with a standard 4.7″ fan pattern.
