Phoenix Contact: New Technology Alliance Program Expands the Power of the EP Raptor Platform
Phoenix Contact USA today announced the official launch of its Technology Alliance Program (TAP). This global initiative expands the capabilities of the Phoenix Contact’s EP Raptor Series of industrial network switches and the company’s broader computing ecosystem through validated, interoperable third-party applications.
As part of the program’s first wave, Phoenix Contact has formed partnerships with:
• CyVault™ is a global OT/ICS cyber defense leader offering advanced, comprehensive protection for organizations of any size and industry.
• EmberOT helps industrial companies see threats clearly, safeguard vital systems, and emerge more capable.
• Industrial Defender, a leader in OT cybersecurity for more than 20 years, provides robust OT asset management and compliance automation for critical infrastructure operators.
• JPEmbedded delivers advanced communication and cybersecurity solutions for power systems and industrial networks.
• PCItek delivers integration consulting, solutions, and products to the utility industry.
• Radiflow protects industrial sites by providing unified visibility, real-time threat detection, and automated risk management.
• SyskeyOT provides customer-centric cybersecurity solutions for OT/IACS networks.
Phoenix Contact had previously announced partnerships with Xona and Forescout, which are also part of TAP.
TAP is built on a simple principle: customers who rely on Phoenix Contact’s substation-grade hardware can choose the applications that best fit their operational and cybersecurity needs. The program accelerates the industry shift from multiple standalone appliances to converged, high-performance platforms capable of hosting cybersecurity, automation, and analytics applications directly on EP Raptor switches, Phoenix Contact industrial PCs, or within the PLCnext Technology ecosystem.
“Industrial organizations are under enormous pressure to simplify their architectures while improving security, visibility, and operational performance,” Eric Reichert, Director of Product – Automation, for Phoenix Contact USA. “Our Technology Alliance Program brings together an ecosystem of proven OT and cybersecurity partners. TAP gives our customers a way to consolidate hardware, reduce complexity, and run their preferred applications on a single, high-reliability platform.”
The program’s benefits include:
• Reduced device footprint and consolidation of dedicated appliances
• Lower power consumption and simplified cabling
• Improved mean time between failure through fewer failure points
• Streamlined deployment of cybersecurity and automation workloads
• A vendor-agnostic platform that adapts to each customer’s preferred toolset
