Pilz: Pushbutton Unit PITgatebox with PITreader Card Unit – Control Unit with Access Permission System
Using individual RFID cards, staff can authenticate themselves via the PITgatebox with integrated PITreader card unit. This guarantees that only authorised staff have access to the plant and can implement commands such as activate, stop or reset the machine. Access permission is provided via the transponder cards PITreader card, which can be written individually. The company’s existing RFID-capable cards can also be used; the familiar PITreader keys can also continue to be used. Thanks to the slimline design, the robust control unit – like all PITgatebox versions – is quick and easy to fit to conventional profile systems.

It is a marine grade, Category 7, 4-pair cable that is 22 AWG stranded, S/FTP (shielded with foiled twisted pairs) and LSZH (low smoke zero halogen), is resistant to oil, fuel, UV and MUD, and is SHF2 compliant. This cable comes in a black HDPE jacket, are DNV/GL and ABS certified, and come in 1640ft/500m reels.

Siemens: SIMOVAC Non-Arc-Resistant and SIMOVAC-AR Arc-Resistant Motor Controllers
The Siemens SIMOVAC medium-voltage non-arc-resistant and SIMOVAC-AR arc-resistant controllers have a modular design incorporating up to two 12SVC400 (400 A) controllers, housed in a freestanding sheet steel enclosure. Each controller is UL 347 class E2, equipped with three current-limiting fuses, a non-load-break isolating switch, and a fixed-mounted vacuum contactor (plug-in type optional for 12SVC400). The enclosure is designed for front access, allowing the equipment to be located with the rear of the equipment close to a non-combustible wall.
