Graybar Names Jason P. Casey Vice President – Distribution Operations

Graybar has recently announced that Jason P. Casey has been named Vice President – Distribution Operations, effective July 22, 2024. Casey has 27 years with Graybar and currently serves as Director, Business Technology. Prior to his current role, he was Director, Corporate Real Estate Development. He has also worked in the company’s Richmond and St. Louis Districts in a variety of operations, finance and accounting roles. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Randolph-Macon College and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

Rockwell Automation Announces Christian Rothe as New Chief Financial Officer

Rockwell Automation has recently announced that Christian Rothe will join the company as senior vice president and chief financial officer on Aug. 19. He will report to Rockwell Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Blake Moret. Rothe brings with him a broad background of executive leadership, finance, strategic planning, operations, and corporate development experience. He joins Rockwell after spending 13 years at Graco Inc., an industrial company specializing in the development and manufacturing of fluid-handling systems and products. Rothe served as chief financial officer and treasurer at Graco from 2015 through 2018 before moving into roles leading Graco’s global business divisions.

EV Solar Carport

Phoenix Contact USA employees and visitors can now charge electric vehicles (EVs) at charging stations powered by the sun. The company recently held a “First Plug-In” ceremony to unveil its new EV solar carport. Up to 10 vehicles can charge at the station at a time. There are four Flo charging stations, each with two charging points. The carport also includes two Jule fast-charging stations, which can charge a vehicle in as little as 30 minutes, depending on conditions. Numerous Phoenix Contact products, including PLCnext Control, power supplies, terminal blocks, relays, and DC charging cables, were used in the installation.
