ABB has recently announced a minority investment in Ndustrial, a US-based clean technology startup that has developed an AI-powered energy management platform. This innovative technology enables smarter, production-aware energy decisions in real time, helping customers reduce operating costs, optimize energy consumption and accelerate decarbonization. The investment was made through ABB Ventures. Financial details were not disclosed.
ABB and Niedax Group, a global supplier of cable management systems, have entered into an agreement to form a new 50/50 joint venture. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions. Expected to close and commence operations in Q4 2024, the collaboration will integrate the North American cable tray businesses of ABB’s Installation Products Division and Niedax Group into a new joint venture. The plan is to deliver advanced solutions and services to electrical contractors, distributors and systems integrators across the United States, Canada and Mexico.

He will serve on the Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee. Effective August 1, 2024, the Emerson Board will expand to 12 members. Butler is a seasoned public company executive with significant operational and leadership experience in the energy industry. He has led Exelon, one of the nation’s largest utility companies, as President and CEO since 2022 and served in a variety of leadership roles during his 16-year tenure at the company.
Graybar has recently named Steven Bourbeau as District Vice President for the company’s Chicago District, effective June 1, 2024. A 29-year Graybar veteran, Bourbeau joined the company in 1995. He currently serves as Director of Finance in Chicago, a position he has held since 2005.
