Omron Automation Americas recently announced the release of its E2EW Series metal face proximity sensors that are designed to minimize downtime thanks to their durable construction and exceptionally long sensing range.
Over the years, the IDEC FL1F SmartRelay has proven to be a reliable and dependable controller for many control applications requiring limited I/O. Along with its universal voltage, built-in analog inputs, 10 Amp relay outputs and web server functions, we’ve enhanced it with more features suited for today’s demanding IIoT environments, now and into the future. Controls system will be even smarter and more efficient with these new FL1F SmartRelay features.
Industrial electronic enclosure manufacturer ROLEC now offers a wider range of standard and customisable cases with windows for standard display modules and panels.
The anti-vandel AV/AVH-Series sealed switch product line from Carling Technologies features quick connect tab terminals for easy installation and daisy-chaining. Sealed to IP67 for above-panel components, the pushbutton AV/AVH-Series switch has a sleek design with various LED illumination options.
Phoenix Contact’s TP3000 series HMI operator panels are available in screen sizes ranging from 5.7 to 15 inches in 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratio. These rugged HMIs cover a wide range of applications from general purpose to wide-temp/sun-light readable to Marine-grade. The TP3000 feature 24VDC operation, all metal design and are available with resistive touch screen or with a capacitive touch screen that supports gesture capability.
High-end machine vision imaging systems require active cooling to ensure optimal image resolution. The HiTemp ET Series Peltier thermoelectric cooler from Laird Thermal Systems is designed to keep sensors cool and operating at peak performance in machine vision applications.
Designed for demanding applications with high actuation rates, the 6 mm x 6 mm KSC Tireless Endurance advances the marketplace for tact switches. The KSC Tireless Endurance switch from C&K helps ease the design cycle by offering a long-standing lifetime for its size and force range.
B&R is offering a new Compact-S PLC with 512 MB of RAM and 2 GB of internal flash memory. That gives the X20CP0484-1 more than twice the RAM capacity of previous models from the Compact-S series. It is ideal for applications with high requirements for memory and performance.
The Type1 Light S CPU mounts in a standard V2000 I/O rack (3 I/O, 5 I/O or 8 I/O racks are available). It can replace a S2E module. The Type1 Light S does not support racks with station bus, or I/O modules that require a station bus. The Type1 Light S CPU has both a RS485 port and an Ethernet port which supports Toshiba’s ASCII computer link protocol. This allows connection by any HMI or SCADA software that has the Toshiba computer link driver.
Providing many-core performance on the DIN rail, the Embedded PCs from the CX2000 series make very powerful industrial control systems possible and enable direct connection of Bus Terminals or EtherCAT Terminals. The CX2000 in conjunction with EtherCAT and TwinCAT enables very fast control processes in the microsecond range (eXtreme Fast Control Technology).
Bel Power Solutions, a Bel group company and global manufacturer of power management devices, has recently announced the expansion of their high power portfolio with the TXP4000 Series, a maximum 4000 W AC-DC power supply suitable for industrial, process and control, railway and machinery applications.
On the heels of their strategic partnership, Rittal, a global systems provider of IT infrastructure as well as industrial solutions, and ZutaCore, a waterless, two-phase, liquid cooling company, have announced the first Rittal HPC Cooled-by-ZutaCore solutions. First, is a rear-door-air (RDA) solution, part of Rittal’s LCP system portfolio. It is compact, therefore saves valuable rack space as all of the liquid cooling components are incorporated directly into the rear door.
Wiring a control cabinet requires a lot of time and expertise. Up to 43% of the time working on panel building is spent on wiring, depending on the specific application. Control technology often answers questions about the ideal routing of the wires by using the schematics, the basis for the cabinet’s wiring.
Modern, decentralized production facilities require automation solutions that ensure the highest level of connectivity, while providing maximum performance outside of the control cabinet. WAGO developed its I/O System Field with IP67 protection to meet these needs today and tomorrow by being upgradable: “I/O System Field combines speed with ETHERNET-based fieldbuses (e.g., PROFINET), technologies such as OPC UA or Webserver and, in the future, MQTT as a communication protocol, for cloud connectivity,” says WAGO automation expert Ludwig Adelmann.
Designed for field installation on most standard one-door Type 12 enclosures. These latch kits will not fit Hoffman disconnect, Concept or ProLine enclosures. Each kit includes a handle, latch, latch rods, adjustable rod guides and all hardware. The latch rods can be adjusted to maintain the proper gasket compression by relocating the pins in the rod guides. When the pin is removed, the latch rod can also be removed.
