Littelfuse, Inc. has recently announced their new SMTOAK2 TVS Diode Series. Many of today’s high-power, high-surge-rating TVS diodes are only available in axial leaded packages. The compact, 2 kA 8/20 μs rated, surface-mount package SMTOAK2 TVS Diode Series allows electronics designers to achieve a more robust transient voltage, overvoltage protection, and lightning protection system while using less printed circuit board (PCB) space.
The new contactors are rated 160A, 195A and 230A three-phase for motor control applications, and 250A, 275A and 350A in AC-1 category. They are available in both 3 and 4 pole versions. They replace contactor codes 11B…, of similar ratings which have demonstrated their reliability and robustness over the years. The new size is more compact and efficient, in response to market demand.
Mitsubishi Electric Automation, Inc. has recently announced the release of the NZ2FT Series slice distributed I/O solution. NZ2FT Series is a modular distributed I/O system that operates currently as a remote station for EtherNet/IP, Profibus DP, and Modbus TCP device-level networks. It offers a scalable architecture that accepts a wide range of mix-and-match I/O configurations.

Some applications require different supply voltages. With the new firmware 3.20, new Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) functions are available for the managed TSN switches from Phoenix Contact. The FL SWITCH TSN 2300 industrial managed switches thus also support the CC-Link IE TSN profile. The CC-Link IE TSN specification combines Gigabit Ethernet bandwidth with the TSN feature set. The switches are Phoenix Contact’s first Ethernet switches for TSN and enable TSN on up to 16 Gigabit ports.

TE’s M12 rail value version connectors are a cost-effective series of M12 connectors, including A-coded 8-position and D-coded 4-position male and female options. These connectors comply with rail application standards (EN 45545 and IEC 61373), and the shielding design enables signal and high-speed data transmission in harsh environments.
The 8640 valve unit system is designed to solve diverse and complex control problems due to its systematic modular construction and combination of pneumatic and electrical interfaces.
