Roxtec Stainless Steel Cable Transits Offer IP69K Rating

The Roxtec CF 16 is a low profile cable entry seal for enclosures. The transit is available in 304 stainless steel and openable versions, as well as for EMC applications.
The Roxtec CF 16 stainless steel transit, and the entire range of Roxtec C RS T seals in stainless steel, have successfully passed a set of challenging tests to ensure they meet the IP69K rating. In environments that require heavy wash-down, such as the food processing industry, and for defense vehicles, dump trucks and other heavy road and off-road equipment, the combination of water, chemicals, high pressures and temperatures can be fatal for the electronic systems installed. With the IP69K rating, the Roxtec CF 16 AISI multi-cable transits and the Roxtec C RS T seals for single cables now ensure certified protection against water at high pressure and high temperature.
In addition to IP69K, the products also fulfill the IP66/67 rating. This means they can be submerged for 30 minutes in up to 1 meter of water, and also that they have the highest protection rating against dust and sand.
