nVent to Bring Eleanor, WV Facility 100 New Manufacturing Jobs

October 6, 2025

nVent Electric plc has recently announced increased manufacturing capacity in Eleanor, West Virginia, to support continued demand in the data center industry for large enclosures.

This expansion will create more than 100 new manufacturing jobs in Eleanor over the next six to eight months.

The multi-part expansion in Eleanor will add 117,000 square feet to the facility. The project also includes facility and equipment upgrades to streamline production and help the team more quickly produce nVent TRACHTE large outdoor enclosure solutions.

“Our nVent TRACHTE large outdoor enclosures play an important role in the AI infrastructure buildout,” said Sara Zawoyski, president of Systems Protection at nVent. “Our facility, which has been operating here for more than 50 years, is key to our success and the people in this community will help us build AI infrastructure for the future of high-performance computing.”

Eric Casto, operations manager for the nVent facility in Eleanor, added, “I’m excited to see nVent keep growing and even more excited that we’re doing it right here in Eleanor. The people of this community have made great contributions to this business and there are great things to come in the future.”

The expanded Eleanor facility specializes in large outdoor enclosure solutions filled with sensitive electronics. These enclosures act as switchboards and uninterrupted power supplies for data centers, and help manage power distribution for data center facilities. Once the expansion is complete, the site will employ approximately 250people.
