Phoenix Contact and Forescout Announce Partnership

January 5, 2026
In mid-December of 2025, Phoenix Contact USA announced a strategic partnership with Forescout Technologies, a global provider in cybersecurity.
The collaboration integrates and embeds Forescout 4D Platform’s operational technology (OT) network monitoring and threat detection capabilities with Phoenix Contact’s EP Raptor Series of industrial network switches. The result is a unified hardware and software platform delivering advanced visibility, risk management, and strengthened cyber resilience for critical infrastructure networks.
As IT and OT networks converge, operators in oil and gas, power, water, and other mission-critical sectors face mounting cybersecurity challenges. Forescout’s 2024 Global Threat Roundup reported a 668% increase in critical-infrastructure incidents over the past three years, while its Global Industrial Cybersecurity Benchmark study found that nearly 60% of industrial organizations cannot reliably detect OT/IoT threats. This combination of rising exposure and limited visibility highlights the need for integrated solutions that deliver continuous monitoring and protection across converged industrial environments.
By embedding Forescout directly onto the Phoenix Contact EP Raptor Series, organizations can deploy a single, cybersecure appliance that pairs EP Raptor’s high-performance networking – full L2/L3 capability, aggregate 64 Gb/s line speed, redundant hot-swappable power supplies, and modular computing – with Forescout’s automated discovery, classification, behavioral threat detection, and continuous threat intelligence across OT, IoT, and IT.
The integrated solution minimizes hardware, rack space, and field complexity while delivering contextual situational awareness, compliance monitoring, and real-time enforcement. This gives operators reliable visibility where they once had blind spots, dramatically shortens time-to-detect and time-to-remediate, and reduces the operational risk and downtime caused by unmanaged devices and fragmented toolchains.
“Partnering with Forescout reinforces our commitment to delivering secure, converged networking solutions for critical infrastructure,” said Eric Reichert, Director of Product – Automation, for Phoenix Contact USA. “By integrating Forescout with our EP Raptor platform, we’re enabling operators to simplify their architecture, while gaining deeper visibility and protection against evolving OT and IoT threats.”
“Industrial networks are dealing with more connected devices – and more unmanaged risk – than ever before,” said Christina Hoefer, Vice President of OT/ IoT Vertical and Strategy, Forescout Technologies. “Integrating the Forescout 4D Platform into Phoenix Contact’s EP Raptor Series gives customers advanced network security, continuous asset intelligence, automated visibility, and real-time exposure management with no disruption to operations. It’s a major step forward in reducing unmanaged risk and enabling continuous threat exposure management across critical sectors.”
