NEMA 4X Dual 316 Cabinet Coolers from EXAIR

EXAIR has launched a Dual 316 Stainless Steel Cabinet Cooler® System with ETC (Electronic Temperature Control) that keeps electrical enclosures cool with 20°F (-7°C) air, while maintaining the NEMA 4X rating of the enclosure and removing the heat that could adversely affect the internal components. The wear, corrosion and oxidation resistance of Type 316 stainless steel assures long life and maintenance free operation within food, medical, pharmaceutical, chemical and other harsh environments.

Cooling capacities up to 5,600 Btu/hr. are ideal for larger enclosures and heat loads. EXAIR’s digital ETC (Electronic Temperature Control) provides precise temperature control for your electrical enclosure that is constantly being monitored by a quick response thermocouple.

It joins EXAIR’s complete line of NEMA 12, 4 and 4X Cabinet Cooler systems which are available from 275 through 5600 Btu/Hr. They are available from stock in aluminum, 303SS and 316SS materials. EXAIR offers Hazardous Location Cabinet Coolers with UL classified listing for classified areas in need of cooling. The broad line also includes non-hazardous purge models, high temperature models, continuous operation and thermostat-controlled models.

Applications include cooling control panels used in food processing, pharmaceutical, foundries, chemical processing and other corrosive locations.

Improving plant safety is always a top priority. New CENTERLINE 2500 Motor Control Centers with SecureConnect technology help reduce exposure to electrical hazards by disconnecting power from the vertical power bus in an individual unit with the door closed. The handles on the exterior of SecureConnect units have four operating positions: connected, test, disconnected and released. A plunger near the handle can also be locked out for added safety.

The new XT 2.5 terminal blocks from Phoenix Contact are the first to feature a front Push-X connection, allowing fast and easy wiring. The XT 2.5 portfolio includes feed-through and multi-conductor terminal blocks as well as function versions for using disconnect knives, plug-in fuses, and components. With Push-X technology, solid, stranded, or ferruled conductors and cross-sections can now be connected even faster, either manually or automatically. binder: Ethernet Connectivity for Sensors in Confined Spaces

binder now offers connectors with D-coding in the M8 form factor as part of its 818 product series. The products are ideal for Industrial Ethernet applications with communication protocols such as EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP or PROFINET according to IEEE 802.3 via twisted-pair cables of the Cat-5e category. Accordingly, the 4-pin connectors enable the network connection of actuators and sensors of particularly small size with data rates of up to 100 Mbit/s.
