Expanded Beam XLR Bulkhead Connectors for the Broadcast Market

Cinch Connectivity Solutions, a Bel group company, recently announced the Fibreco brand of Junior XLR Expanded Beam Bulkhead Connectors, offering an Expanded Beam XLR mounting option to convert the physical contact fiber solutions already in use in the market today.

Cinch Connectivity Solutions’ Junior XLR expanded beam connectors offer reliable performance with a simple termination process, allowing rapid in-field termination and repair. Expanded beam connectors offer easy to clean capabilities, limiting the need for special cleaning tools, commonly used in the industry. The Junior XLR bulkhead fit into the standard XLR mounting template, making it possible to directly swap your physical contact solutions to allow for the added benefits of using expanded beam.

It is an affordable yet reliable solution for use in rugged and harsh environment applications. The XLR provides a space saving design allowing to fit more connectors on the patch panels. Available in 2 or 4 channel options and designed around the MIL-DTL-26482 mechanical features, the Junior XLR Bulkhead is a fully hermaphroditic connector providing high performance and is fully compatible with Cinch Connectivity Solutions’ standard Junior, 2 and 4 channel products.
