Polycase Expands Versatile NEMA Enclosure Offering With the Addition of 3 New Sizes

Polycase, a US manufacturer of electronics enclosures, has introduced three new sizes to their NEMA enclosure family in the ZH and ZQ Series. The new sizes include an 11”x 9” x 4”, 11” x 11” x 8”, and 13” x 11”x 6”. The NEMA 4X enclosures are ideal for use in industries such as oil & gas, telecommunication, food & beverage, alternative energy, agriculture, marine plus more. The enclosures are UL Listed to NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 3R, 3X, 3RX, 3S, 3SX, 4, 4X, 5, 6, 6P, 12, and 13 and also meet IP65, IP66, IP67, and IP68 requirements.
Molded from premium impact-resistant polycarbonate, the new waterproof junction boxes are weatherproof and corrosion-resistant for use in harsh environments. The continuous gasket creates a reliable water-tight seal in the cover, while tamper-resistant screws and an area for a padlock provide added security. Strengthening ribs designed into the feet and flanges add extra durability for surface-mounted applications.
Designed for versatility, the electrical enclosures offer four unique internal panel options. Panels can be mounted in the cover, bottom of the base, top of the base or suspended at any height within the base. Durable mounting bosses in the base and cover provide flexibility for mounting additional components. Available accessories include panel kits, pole mounting hardware, DIN rail kits, cable glands, and vents.
