October 11, 2022

The Sunclix connectors with crimp connection for automated assembly processes from Phoenix Contact enable the easy and reliable cabling of photovoltaic panels.

The device connector with Unlock system is a new addition. This allows the connector to be conveniently unlocked without using a special tool and is particularly suitable for cabling inverters and string combiner boxes. Silver-plated contacts ensure connection technology with long-term stability. The connectors are designed for currents up to 40 A (IEC) / 50 A (UL) and voltages up to 1,500 V (IEC/UL).

In addition, new Sunclix spring-cage connectors are available for conductor cross-sections from 6 to 16 mm² (AWG 10 / AWG 6). They are also equipped with silver-plated contacts and the patented Unlock system. The spring-cage connectors for large conductor cross-sections are suitable for joining photovoltaic panel strings together and connecting higher currents. Conduction losses are reduced. The connectors with spring-cage connection are designed for currents up to 60 A (IEC) / 80 A (UL) and voltages up to 1,500 V (IEC/UL).

All products are certified in accordance with IEC 62852 and UL 6703. The international certifications ensure that the connector range meets current and future requirements. All new products also satisfy a high degree of protection in accordance with IP66, IP68 (24 h/2 m).
