Mouser: TE Connectivity’s M12 Rail Value Version Connectors

Mouser Electronics, Inc. is now stocking M12 rail value version connectors from TE Connectivity.

TE’s M12 rail value version connectors are a cost-effective series of M12 connectors, including A-coded 8-position and D-coded 4-position male and female options. These connectors comply with rail application standards (EN 45545 and IEC 61373), and the shielding design enables signal and high-speed data transmission in harsh environments. The series features IP67 protection, 26AWG to 18AWG wire size, 8mΩ max. contact resistance, and 100MΩ min. insulation resistance. Voltage and current ratings are 250V and 4A for the D4 code connectors and 30V and 2A for the A8 code.

Ideal applications for TE’s M12 rail value version connectors include audio-visual communication, passenger information and displays, video surveillance, passenger entertainment and Wi-Fi, and ticket machines.

The Siemens SIMOVAC medium-voltage non-arc-resistant and SIMOVAC-AR arc-resistant controllers have a modular design incorporating up to two 12SVC400 (400 A) controllers, housed in a freestanding sheet steel enclosure. Each controller is UL 347 class E2, equipped with three current-limiting fuses, a non-load-break isolating switch, and a fixed-mounted vacuum contactor (plug-in type optional for 12SVC400).
