Leviton Introduces Two New Steel Tape Armored ADVENTUM Fiber Optic Cables for EMEA, LAC, and APAC – Available in North America

Leviton is excited to announce the launch of two ADVENTUM Central Dry Tube cables: Fire Survival and RailSafe Steel Tape Armor.
These cables prioritize safety, delivering exceptional fire performance, top-tier efficiency, and a robust return on infrastructure investment for where low smoke or CPR requirements are specified.
ADVENTUM Fire Survival is an indoor cable, engineered to ensure critical data transmission during fire emergencies. Meeting the rigorous flammability standards of IEC60331-25, these cables can maintain circuit integrity for 90 minutes (PH90 – EN50200) under extreme conditions, making them indispensable for large public buildings and crucial infrastructure. Meanwhile, ADVENTUM RailSafe cables adhere to comprehensive standards, including the London Underground’s LUL S-1085 specification, ensuring they are perfectly suited for underground rail networks, stations, tunnels, and tracksides.
Both cables are manufactured in Leviton’s UK cable factory and form part of the continued expansion of the ADVENTUM family, boasting some of the brand’s key advantages. In this case, the Central Dry Tube cuts the time-consuming mess of wet gel constructions, whilst the added incorporation of high-strength, corrugated Steel Tape Armor provides exceptional defense against external factors, whether they be mechanical impact, rodent damage, or environmental elements.
