NovaTech Product Innovation Guru Ray Wright Retires

NovaTech are both happy and sad to announce the retirement of Ray Wright, Senior Vice President of Marketing.

NovaTech said this on their website about Ray and his career with the company:

Ray has been an outstanding contributor at NovaTech Automation for more than 20 years. 

Ray first started doing business with NovaTech when he worked at Modicon. At the time, NovaTech was a software company writing stacks that allowed Modicon PLCs to communicate with substation IEDs and SCADA. Ray first became a NovaTech proponent, then a NovaTech employee, and leaves as a NovaTech Icon.  

Ray has been a thought leader in the electric utilities for decades, defining the concept of the substation automation platform and shepherding Orion’s success in the category. Relentlessly curious and customer-focused, he helped define a culture that continues to innovate and solve complex problems with responsive service. We wish him the best.
