AutomationDirect has added CHANNELLOCK tools, which are designed with strength and durability in mind. These tools are made in the USA with high-carbon USA steel.
The CHANNELLOCK straight jaw pliers feature undercut tongue-and-groove channels to prevent slipping, and Griplock jaw tongue-and-groove pliers have an offset head for greater leverage with patented SAFE-T-STOP technology to prevent pinching. The long nose pliers, with a crosshatch tooth pattern and narrow nose profile, and slip joint pliers, with a serrated jaw and an added wire cutting shear, are perfect for soft wire. High-leverage diagonal/curved cutting pliers, with precision-machined knife and anvil-style cutting edges, ensure perfect mating for superior performance and longevity. Assorted pliers sets as well as technicians’ pliers sets are available.
New CHANNELLOCK multi-purpose wiring tools feature models that can perform a variety of tasks, including wire stripping, wire cutting, deburring, reaming, crimping, or bolt cutting.
CHANNELLOCK adjustable wrenches are made of rugged chrome vanadium steel and feature non-protruding jaws for accessing hard-to-reach areas. Measurement scales are laser-engraved for sizing nuts, pipe, and tube diameters while its four-thread knurl adjuster boosts accuracy. Models with extra-wide jaws are also available to accommodate larger nuts and bolts.
