Flexible Healthcare Systems Will Power the Future

June 26, 2023

The importance of healthcare cannot be understated.

Because keeping a hospital up and running requires a massive amount of reliable power, you need an essential electrical system that’s designed to help reduce energy costs, simplify maintenance and make it easier to comply with regulatory requirements.

In the last five years alone, Eaton has completed a multitude of major energy projects at hospitals and far more targeted system updates and upgrades. Eaton are creating flexible energy systems designed to accommodate shifting community care needs, while establishing proactive and reliability-centered maintenance programs that enable continuity of care and create a foundation for safety and security. When power is mission-critical, count on Eaton’s proven industry expertise and intelligent power and hospital IoT solutions.

Improve care with infrastructure improvements

Every dollar saved on hospital energy bills equates to an exponential investment in patient care. In other words, energy optimization to improve hospital energy efficiency correlates to improved care.

With Eaton’s Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS), they make it easy to monitor building and campus electrical systems in real-time and transform data into insights so you know exactly where the biggest opportunities for energy efficiencies can be achieved. Eaton can also help you take corrective action and support more effective preventive maintenance programs.

Powering resilience and reliability in uncertainty

The potential costs of power quality events and outages is astronomical, but many can be prevented, helping to reduce the potential impact on patient care. Eaton can help you advance hospital power system reliability, whether you need to boost resilience against potentially lengthy grid outages, predict and prevent infrastructure issues or ensure power availability with backup protection. With incredible solutions, engineering services and longtime hospital electrical system expertise, Eaton can help ensure that critical power is always flowing where it’s needed.
