Wieland Electric Strengthens Management

Wieland Electric GmbH from Bamberg has recently appointed Mr. Bernd P. Uckrow as new CEO. Mr. Uckrow is now responsible for the commercial areas of finance, controlling, personnel, IT and purchasing for the Wieland Division. 

Mr. Uckrow returns to Wieland’s top management after 15 years.  He already worked successfully for Wieland from 1995 to 2005, the last five years of which he spent as Commercial CEO of Wieland Holding GmbH and Wieland Electric GmbH. 

His international career has led him to management positions abroad and to globally positioned companies such as SEW EURODRIVE GmbH, where he was also responsible for the commercial management.  

With this appointment, Wieland Electric is sending a clear signal for the strategic corporate orientation and securing the future in the current difficult economic environment.
