Omron to Showcase an Interactive Experience That Combines Pick-and-Place, Materials transport and End-of-Line Palletizing at PACK EXPO 2022

Omron Automation Americas will offer an interactive booth showcasing innovative solutions that address industry-wide operational issues:  easing labor shortages and enhancing productivity.  At PACK EXPO, the world’s top-rated packaging trade show, visitors will get to interact with Omron solutions and the advanced technology that powers them.

Bel Fuse Inc. has recently confirmed consistent with prior announcements that Dennis Ackerman will retire from the Company effective July 31, 2024 after 37 years of service, having served as President of Bel Power Solutions and Protection since 2014. As previously announced, Steve Dawson, who most recently served as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for the Power segment, has been named to succeed Mr. Ackerman. His appointment as the new President of Bel Power Solutions and Protection is effective July 1, 2024. Mr. Ackerman joined Bel in 1986 and held the positions of Customer Service Manager, Sales Manager, Purchasing Director and Operations Director.  In 2001, he was named Vice President of Operations and in June 2014, he was named President of the Bel Power Solutions and Protection segment.

ABB Appoints Joerg Theis President of B&R

ABB has appointed Joerg Theis as President of ABB’s Machine Automation Division (B&R), effective April 1, 2021. He succeeds Clemens Sager, who managed the division ad interim since January 1, 2021. Theis is a 23-year veteran of ABB. He has deep experience in process and factory automation in Consumer Goods, Pharmaceutical, F&B, Hybrid Industries and Automotive, amongst other segments, with a focus on developing digital services offerings.
