Hammond Manufacturing: Type 4X Stainless Steel Two Door Freestanding Enclosure

Introducing the new Type 4X stainless steel two-door freestanding enclosure from Hammond Manufacturing, designed to house electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls and instruments, and provides protection where equipment may be hosed down or otherwise be very wet, or in specific applications where corrosion is a serious problem.

These enclosures are made of formed 12 gauge 304 stainless steel with smooth, continuously welded seams without knockouts, cutouts or holes. Heacy duty stainless steel lifting eyebolts are provided with reinforcing support angles, and the doors are supported with heavy gauge continuous hinges. Dual Access versions have doors both in front and in back. Door handles are 3-pt padlocking.

These enclosures come with seamless poured-in place gaskets, a grounding stud inside, a bonding stud on the door, and a removable center post for easy installation of the inner panel. The cover and enclosure also feature a smooth brushed finish.
