nVent HOFFMAN’s non-metallic enclosure line just got more innovative. Introducing the new nVent HOFFMAN Polycarbonate Type 4X/6P Enclosures, for demanding industrial applications that require a high degree of protection and extreme durability. 

These enclosures are equipped with various features, including:

  • Corner Elevator System: Slotted shelf technology that provides solid hinged front surfaces that are easy to install, align and keep level
  • Latches: Non-metallic and metallic latches and hinged screw cover are all padlock-able providing superior protection. An additional lift-off screw cover also allows easy access to components. 
  • Polycarbonate Material: The material is lightweight yet durable, offering resistance to impact and fire
  • Modification Options: Multiple options to support versatility, including holes & cutouts, threads & countersinking, and silk-screening

Siemens: SIMOVAC Non-Arc-Resistant and SIMOVAC-AR Arc-Resistant Motor Controllers

The Siemens SIMOVAC medium-voltage non-arc-resistant and SIMOVAC-AR arc-resistant controllers have a modular design incorporating up to two 12SVC400 (400 A) controllers, housed in a freestanding sheet steel enclosure. Each controller is UL 347 class E2, equipped with three current-limiting fuses, a non-load-break isolating switch, and a fixed-mounted vacuum contactor (plug-in type optional for 12SVC400). The enclosure is designed for front access, allowing the equipment to be located with the rear of the equipment close to a non-combustible wall.
