Schneider Electric: ASCO 300 SERIES Multi-Voltage Transfer Switch for Commercial Backup Power

Schneider Electric has recently launched the ASCO 300 SERIES Multi-Voltage Transfer Switch.
The new product is a field-configurable automatic transfer switch that replaces up to 10 voltage-specific models with a single unit serving applications from 208 to 480 volts at up to 600 amperes.
As electrification expands and construction timelines tighten, backup power has become a growing priority for commercial and light industrial facility owners. By consolidating up to 10 voltage-specific SKUs into a single unit, the 300 SERIES Multi-Voltage Transfer Switch simplifies inventory for distributors, shortens lead times for contractors, and streamlines replacement-part logistics for service providers.
Traditional automatic transfer switches are voltage-specific, requiring distributors and generator dealers to stock separate models for every line voltage in a power distribution system. When the wrong unit arrives at a jobsite or a late-stage design change occurs, installation and commissioning can be delayed, adding time and cost to commercial construction projects. The 300 SERIES Multi-Voltage Transfer Switch eliminates this constraint by enabling installers to set the operating voltage on-site using simple hardware controls—no software configuration or specialist service call required.
The UL 1008-listed product is built on the proven ASCO 300 SERIES platform and ASCO’s century of leadership in power source switching and control. Every Multi-Voltage Transfer Switch ships with ASCO’s patented Predictive Outage Detection, which senses voltage instability on the utility source and preemptively starts the generator to protect connected equipment.
