Rittal North America, a global manufacturer of industrial and IT enclosures, recently added a Midwest warehouse to get closer to their customers and shorten delivery times, expand service capabilities, and improve customer service. They are collaborating with Gebrüder Weiss in Des Plaines, IL, to expand Rittal’s U.S. footprint for more responsive enclosure delivery to integrators, OEMs, machine builders, panel builders, and data centers in the Midwest.

Improving delivery times for panel building and IT infrastructure is key to compete in manufacturing and IT today. So, establishing a strategically located warehouse in the Midwest enables Rittal to better serve our customers with faster delivery times. By optimizing our operational processes and adding a new warehouse location at Gebrüder Weiss, Des Plaines, IL, Rittal enhances its offering to customers in the Midwest. This logistics footprint expansion offers:

  •    –   Quality engineered products
  •    –   Faster delivery
  •    –   Improved customer productivity

“Today, time to market is more essential than ever for integrators, OEMs, machine builders, panel builders, and data centers,” states Mike Freund, CEO at Rittal. “To help them gain a competitive advantage, Rittal is pleased to announce our collaboration with Gebrüder Weiss to provide more responsive delivery in the Midwest.”

“There is more to logistics than moving things from point A to point B. We work with our customers to develop a custom approach to meet their goals and satisfy their customers. We have worked successfully with Rittal in Europe for many years, and we are delighted to welcome them to our Midwest warehouse. We look forward to helping them expedite and expand throughout the Midwest,” said Mark McCullough, CEO of Gebrüder Weiss USA.
