AutomationDirect: Autonics TK Series PID Temperature Controllers

October 13, 2026
Autonics TK series PID temperature controllers deliver fast, accurate control for industrial heating and cooling applications.
Available in five DIN sizes, they support thermocouple, RTD, and analog inputs, with a high‑speed 50 ms sampling rate and ±0.3% display accuracy to ensure stable control and reliable performance.
The TK series provides flexible output options, including relay, current, and SSR‑drive outputs, with models that support simultaneous heating and cooling. SSR‑drive outputs provide ON/OFF, cycle, and phase‑angle control modes for optimized heating performance. Up to three configurable alarm relays support deviation, absolute value, sensor‑break, heater‑break, and loop‑break monitoring. Select models also include a CT input (sold separately) for heater current monitoring, allowing a true heater-disconnect alarm based on the measured current.
Additional features include auto‑tuning, ramp functions for gradual setpoint changes, multi‑SV preset selection, manual control mode, and parameter‑lock functions. All models support configuration and monitoring through Autonics DAQMaster PC software using the SCM‑US cable, with RS‑485 Modbus RTU available on select models. A rugged IP65 front panel and wide operating temperature range ensure reliable operation in harsh environments.
Autonics TK series PID temperature controllers start at $137.00 (TK4N-14CN).
