MENNEKES: SPEC Grade Series Now Available as Fusible Disconnects

MENNEKES has expanded the SPEC Grade Series stainless steel motor disconnects to include fusible models, spanning 30A, 60A, 100A, 200A and 400A. This expansion means facilities engineers can now place fused disconnects near equipment, supporting immediate local power isolation for Lockout/Tagout (LO/TO) procedures and protecting machinery from overcurrent faults.
Built for Washdown Environments
Each unit houses a UL 98 Listed fusible switch inside a stainless steel enclosure rated NEMA 4X; 12 and IP69K with recommended mounting hardware. Typical applications include washdown and sanitation-critical manufacturing areas, such as processing-to-packaging transitions, packaging lines, conveyor systems, equipment doors and other locations where fused disconnects need to be mounted close to equipment without compromising performance.
Additional features of the SPEC Grade fusible models include:
- LO/TO-compliant pistol-grip handle accepts multiple padlocks in the OFF position.
- Optional early break auxiliary contacts (1 N/O; 1 N/C), field-installable for VFD and starter interfaces.
- Seamless, poured-in-place cover gasket and hidden hinge system.
- 200kA short circuit rating with fuse.
- Stainless steel quarter-turn cover latches.
- Finger-proof switch construction — no hazardous exposed parts.
With the addition of the SPEC Grade fusible models, MENNEKES now offers the only complete 30-400A sloped roof portfolio in the industry.
