ROLEC: Safeguard In-Cab Electronics With profiCASE Diecast HMI Enclosures

Rolec profiCASE Robust aluminium enclosures for HMI/IPC devices up to 10"

ROLEC’s new profiCASE (IP 65, IP 66, IP 67) enclosures offer the ideal protection for today’s new generation of in-cab touch screen systems in tractors and off-highway construction vehicles.

HMI systems housed within a cab still need high levels of ingress protection against all the moisture and dust in farming and civil engineering. Other applications for rugged profiCASE include mechanical engineering and underground mining.

These diecast aluminum HMI enclosures can house touch screens, displays and keypads up to 10″. They can be mounted directly or bolted to a VESA 100 bracket while remaining completely sealed. Integrated handle strips enable easy adjustment to the ideal viewing angle.

The captive lid can be opened to 95° for easy access to the electronics. It is secured with locking screws. Integrated hinges (that are not visible from the front) stop it from becoming detached.

There are two versions of profiCASE: PCD with concealed rear screw mounting, and PCV with front screw mounting for direct attachment in the cab. Torx screws deter tampering.

The enclosures are cast from 100% recycled material in two sizes: 12.60″ x 11.81″ x 3.35″ (for screens up to 7″) and 15.75″ x 14.96″ x 3.35″ (for screens up to 10″). There are two standard colours: light gray (RAL 7035) and anthracite (RAL 7016). Custom colors are available on request.

Accessories include cable glands, pressure equalization elements, terminal blocks, cross rails and DIN rails.

ROLEC can supply profiCASE fully customized. Services include displays, CNC machining, powder coating, painting, engraving, RFI/EMI shielding, screen and digital printing, and assembly of accessories.
