METCASE: MINIMET Compact Instrument Enclosures Now in Custom Sizes and New Colors

METCASE’s MINIMET desktop/portable instrument enclosures are now available in custom sizes and a new color scheme. There is also a new catalog.
These smart, compact aluminum enclosures are ideal for medical electronics, test and measurement, industrial control, peripherals, interfaces, switchboxes, communications and laboratory equipment.
MINIMET has always been available in custom widths and depths – now it can be specified in bespoke heights. The front panel fixing screws can be hidden if the chosen height is compatible with the standard plastic front panel trims (for case heights: 1.52″, 2.76″, 4.13″ and 5.31″). Any other bespoke height can be accommodated if the front panel trims are not required.
Recessed front and rear panels (accessories) protect controls, displays and interfaces. A 0.315″ or 0.551″ recess can be specified for the front panel. The removable base panel is pre-fitted with four M3 PCB screw pillars. Four self-adhesive non-slip feet are included.
MINIMET is available in eight standard sizes from 5.30″ x 5.12″ x 1.52″ to 6.87″ x 9.45″ x 2.76″. METCASE’s new traffic white (RAL 9016) and traffic gray A (RAL 7042) colors – standard on some other models – are now available on request, as are other custom colors. They complement the existing standard light gray (RAL 7035).
Accessories for MINIMET include front and rear panels, which can be supplied anodized or painted, and PCB/panel fixing screws.
In addition to bespoke sizes and colors, MINIMET can also be specified with custom front panels, machining, special fixings and inserts, and photo-quality digital printing of legends, logos and graphics.
