Banner Engineering: M12 A-Code 22 AWG Cordsets – Reliable Connections in High-EMI Environments

New M12 A-Code 22 AWG Cordsets feature shielded conductors for improved noise immunity and analog signal integrity near high-current cables.

They also feature Banner’s new molded connector body, which accommodates larger cable diameters and incorporates an easy-grip and keyway indicator for easier alignment during installation. For end-to-end shield continuity, the cable’s shield is terminated to the coupling nut of a straight M12 A-code 5-pin connector.

Available with PVC jacket for cost-efficient fixed installation, these cordsets are dual-listed for ITC (Instrumentation Tray Cable) and PLTC (Power-Limited Tray Cable), allowing installation in cable trays as a more cost-efficient alternative to conduit.

Standard lengths are available from 1 m to 15 m and custom lengths made to order.

The Siemens SIMOVAC medium-voltage non-arc-resistant and SIMOVAC-AR arc-resistant controllers have a modular design incorporating up to two 12SVC400 (400 A) controllers, housed in a freestanding sheet steel enclosure. Each controller is UL 347 class E2, equipped with three current-limiting fuses, a non-load-break isolating switch, and a fixed-mounted vacuum contactor (plug-in type optional for 12SVC400). The enclosure is designed for front access, allowing the equipment to be located with the rear of the equipment close to a non-combustible wall.
